About the Olympiad

The International Law Olympiad is an academic competition for students who see law as a way of understanding the world.

Founded in 2026 by AOO Primakov Regional Gymnasium together with partner universities and embassies, the Olympiad invites high‑school graduates and university students to test themselves against peers from more than 30 countries.

Participants work through three rounds — a multilingual online qualifier, a written case study, and an oral moot court round held in Moscow. All stages are graded blind by international panels of legal scholars and practicing lawyers.

The Olympiad is conducted in English and Russian, with materials available in Arabic, Chinese and French. Winners receive scholarships, internship invitations from partner law firms, and direct admission consideration to participating universities.
