An online test in legal theory, constitutional and international law. Available in five languages, available from any country.

40 multiple-choice questions on legal theory, constitutional and public international law.
Open from any country with an internet connection and a webcam.
Scores published within 5 working days; top 200 advance to the semi-final.

August 20-25, 2026

Semi-final - Case study

Written analysis of a real legal case. Two parallel tracks: public international law and comparative private law.

Online 5 days
Public international law - analysis of treaty and customary law, drafting of a memorial.
Comparative private law - cross-jurisdictional contract dispute with a written brief of 3000-5000 words.
Submissions are anonymised and double-blind reviewed by two graders each.

August 27-29, 2026

Final - Moot court

Oral hearings in Moscow before an international jury. Finalists are flown in at the organizer's expense.

Offline 3 days
40 finalists invited to Moscow. Travel and accommodation are covered by the organizing committee.
Visa support letters are issued upon advancement.
Oral pleadings in pairs before a 5-judge international panel.
Awards ceremony at the Primakov Regional Gymnasium on August 29.
